HypeAuditor pricing starts at $299 a month for the Basic plan billed annually, which is $3,588 a year, according to HypeAuditor's own blog. Review directories list a Pro tier at $499 a month billed annually ($5,988 a year), and Enterprise is quoted after a sales call. There is a free account with media plans, campaign management and demo versions of the paid tools, and HypeAuditor says its best rates go to two-year agreements.
HypeAuditor does not put a price table on its pricing page. That page lists what the platform does and invites you to start free, and the numbers live in a blog post HypeAuditor maintains about its own cost. Everything else you will read, including most of the pages that rank for this search, comes from directories and competitors. This article puts each figure next to its source, works out what the contract means against your creator budget, and shows where cheaper tools fit.
How much does HypeAuditor cost?
The only first-party number is the entry price: the Basic plan starts at $299 a month when billed annually. HypeAuditor describes Basic as having limited access to its Discovery filters and contact data for up to roughly 1,000 creator emails a month. Higher tiers raise the limits, and the company says plans are custom beyond that.
| Plan | Price | Per year | Source |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free account | $0 | $0 | HypeAuditor pricing page |
| Basic | From $299 a month, billed annually | $3,588 | HypeAuditor's own blog |
| Pro | $499 a month, billed annually | $5,988 | Review directories and competitor write-ups |
| Capterra listing | $399 per user per month | $4,788 per user | Vendor-entered directory listing |
| Enterprise | Quote after a sales call | Not published | HypeAuditor |
The Capterra figure and the blog figure do not match, and that is normal for sales-led software. Directory listings are often entered once and left alone, while the price you are offered depends on seats, report volume and contract length. Use the $299 annual Basic price as the floor and expect the quote to move up from there as you add users and data.
Does HypeAuditor have a free plan?
Yes, with limits. A free HypeAuditor account includes media plans, which forecast how a set of creators might perform, basic campaign management, and demo versions of the paid features such as discovery and full audience reports. It is useful for testing the interface and running a small campaign by hand. It is not a working discovery tool, because the search filters and full reports that make HypeAuditor worth paying for are the parts held back.
HypeAuditor also runs free single-purpose tools on its site, such as an Instagram engagement rate calculator and a fake follower check. Each answers one question about one creator account, which is handy for a spot check but not a substitute for search.
Why does HypeAuditor push annual and two-year contracts?
Because the price is set against how much data you will pull, not a flat seat fee. Every plan includes the same modules with different usage limits, so what moves the quote is how much you search, how many reports you open and how much outreach you run. HypeAuditor's own pricing post says annual contracts are discounted and two-year agreements get the best rates. In practice that means three things for a buyer.
- The monthly figure you see quoted is almost always an annual commitment divided by twelve, so budget for the full year up front.
- A two-year deal lowers the rate but doubles the commitment. Only take it if you have already run a full campaign cycle on the platform.
- Usage caps matter more than the plan name. Ask for the report and email limits in writing, since running out mid-campaign forces an upgrade at a bad time to negotiate.
What does HypeAuditor cost as a share of your creator budget?
The plan price only means something next to what you spend on creators. Software that takes 2% of a large program is cheap. The same software on a small test can cost more than a third of the budget before a single creator is paid.
| Annual creator spend | Basic ($3,588 a year) | Pro ($5,988 a year) | Sponsorships Brand plan ($594 a year) |
|---|---|---|---|
| $10,000 | 35.9% | 59.9% | 5.9% |
| $25,000 | 14.4% | 24.0% | 2.4% |
| $50,000 | 7.2% | 12.0% | 1.2% |
| $150,000 | 2.4% | 4.0% | 0.4% |
Below about $25,000 a year, the Basic plan alone eats a sixth of the program. Above $150,000 it is a rounding error, and its audience quality data can save more than it costs by keeping you away from accounts with bought followers.
HypeAuditor vs Modash pricing
Modash is the tool HypeAuditor is compared with most, and it is easier to price because it publishes everything. Modash Essentials is $199 a month billed yearly or $299 month to month, Performance is $499 a month billed yearly or $599 monthly, and both come with a 14-day trial and no card. Enterprise starts at $14,700 a year. Our Modash alternative and pricing breakdown covers its payment fees and seat limits in detail.
| HypeAuditor | Modash | |
|---|---|---|
| Entry price | From $299 a month, billed annually | $199 a month billed yearly, $299 monthly |
| Second tier | About $499 a month billed annually (directories) | $499 a month billed yearly, $599 monthly |
| Month-to-month option | Not published | Yes |
| Trial | Free account with demo features | 14 days, no credit card |
| Database it advertises | 227.4M+ influencers, 35+ filters | 350M+ Instagram, TikTok and YouTube creators |
| Known for | Audience quality and fake follower analysis | Shopify gifting, affiliates and creator payments |
The practical split is simple. If your worry is fraud and audience quality on Instagram and TikTok, HypeAuditor's reports are the reason to pay for it. If you want to start this month without an annual contract, Modash lets you pay monthly.
What are the best HypeAuditor alternatives?
The right alternative depends on what you are actually buying, so match the tool to the placement rather than to the feature list.
- Modash, from $199 a month billed yearly, for social creator search with a published price and monthly billing.
- Grin, with plans at $0, $200, $500 and $1,000 a month, for Shopify brands running gifting and affiliates. Our Grin alternative and pricing page has the credit limits.
- Upfluence, from $11,940 a year on its AWS Marketplace listing, for larger affiliate programs. See what Upfluence costs.
- Sponsorships, at $49.50 a month billed yearly or $99 monthly, for brands whose real buy is podcast reads, newsletter slots and YouTube integrations at a price the creator already published.
If your program is mostly small Instagram and TikTok accounts, you can skip the big database entirely and work from a ranked shortlist of engagement-verified micro influencers instead. Is HypeAuditor worth it?
HypeAuditor is worth it for a brand spending six figures a year on Instagram and TikTok creators, where one bad booking with inflated followers costs more than the annual plan. Its audience reports, fraud scoring and competitor analysis are the strongest part of the product, and at $150,000 of creator spend Basic is about 2.4% of the program.
It is a harder case when your budget is under $25,000, when you cannot commit for a year, or when the creators you want are not on Instagram and TikTok at all. A podcast host or newsletter operator who sells sponsorships does not need an audience fraud report, they need a brief and a booking. That is what a marketplace does, and on Sponsorships the creator has already listed the price, so the first message is about dates, not about whether they take sponsors. Brands buying YouTube integrations this way can see how pricing works on our page about sponsoring a YouTube channel.
Where to start
Write down two numbers before you take a sales call: your creator budget for the next twelve months, and the formats you will buy. If the budget is above roughly $100,000 and the formats are Instagram and TikTok, get HypeAuditor and Modash quotes side by side and negotiate on usage limits. If the formats are podcasts, newsletters and YouTube, open the studio at the top of this page, switch to the brand view and price a placement, then compare it with the Sponsorships plans. The Brand plan costs $594 a year, with 0% commission on every deal you book.
