The detail
What Aspire does well, and where the cost lands
Aspire is one of the older names in influencer marketing software. It started in San Francisco in 2013 as Revfluence, renamed itself AspireIQ in 2018 and now trades simply as Aspire. Its homepage says it is trusted by 800+ brands, and the platform covers the whole social creator workflow: a creator marketplace where influencers apply to your campaigns, AI creator discovery, briefs and agreements, content approval, Shopify product seeding and fulfillment, affiliate links and promo codes with flat, percentage or tiered commissions, boosting creator posts as paid ads, creator payments, and sales and budget dashboards. There is also a managed service for brands that want Aspire's team to run the program.
What it costs is the part Aspire keeps off the page. There is no pricing page at all: aspire.io/pricing returns an error and the plans link forwards to a demo request form, which asks for your monthly paid ad budget and your monthly creator budget before anyone quotes. That is a fair signal of how the price is set, against the size of your program rather than a list. The best public benchmark is procurement data.
Vendr, which negotiates software contracts for its customers, puts Aspire between $11,139 and $36,599 a year with a median of $15,588, about $1,300 a month. The figure repeated across ranking articles, roughly $2,000 to $2,500 a month on an annual contract, traces back to competitors describing their own demo calls and to vendor-entered listings on Capterra and GetApp. It is plausible for a larger team, but it is not a price list, and nobody publishing it shows a contract. So the useful question is not whether $15,588 is expensive, it is what share of your creator budget it eats.
At $150,000 a year of creator spend the median contract is about 10% of the program, which is less than an agency would mark up and buys real workflow. At $50,000 it is 31%, and at $25,000 the software costs 62% of what you pay creators. Aspire earns its fee when a brand runs gifting, affiliate and paid boosting across hundreds of social creators at once. It struggles to earn it on a first test.
The second question is format. Aspire is built around Instagram, TikTok and YouTube creators and the Shopify order that sends them product. If the sponsorship you actually want to buy is a podcast host read, a newsletter placement or an event, you would be paying for gifting, affiliate tracking and a creator community you will not use. Sponsorships starts from the other end.
It is a marketplace where podcasters, newsletter operators, YouTubers and event organizers who want sponsors publish their audience, their formats and a price for each placement. On the Brand plan, at $49.50 a month billed yearly ($594 a year) or $99 month to month, you browse listings by niche and format, keep shortlists, send a campaign brief and contact creators directly. Payment goes straight from you to the creator and Sponsorships takes 0% commission, so the plan price is the whole software cost. Be clear about what you give up.
Sponsorships has no Shopify seeding, no affiliate link or promo code tracking, no paid ad boosting and no managed service, and it only shows creators who chose to list. Brands that rule out Aspire on price usually look at Grin, which publishes plans at $0, $200, $500 and $1,000 a month with no required sales call, Upfluence, whose AWS Marketplace listing starts at $11,940 a year, and Modash for creator search from $199 a month billed yearly. Every Aspire figure on this page is third party because Aspire publishes none; confirm current terms with the vendor before you sign.
Questions
Aspire questions, answered
How much does Aspire cost?
Aspire does not publish prices. Its plans link opens a demo request that asks for your monthly creator and paid ad budgets. Vendr's buyer data puts contracts between $11,139 and $36,599 a year, with a median of $15,588, roughly $930 to $3,050 a month. Capterra and GetApp listings show $2,499 a month, a vendor-entered figure.
Is AspireIQ the same as Aspire?
Yes. The company started in 2013 as Revfluence, renamed itself AspireIQ in 2018 and now uses the name Aspire at aspire.io. Logins and the help center still run on aspireiq.com addresses, which is why both names show up in search and in review listings.
Does Aspire have a free trial?
Aspire lists no free plan and no self-serve trial; the route in is a demo call. If you want to try a creator platform before committing, Grin gives every new account a 30-day Starter trial and has a free tier, and Sponsorships costs $99 for a single month with no annual contract.
Is Grin better than Aspire?
For a Shopify brand that wants to start this month, Grin is easier to buy: published plans at $0, $200, $500 and $1,000 a month and no required sales call, against a quote-only Aspire contract near $15,600 a year. Aspire goes further on its creator marketplace, where influencers apply to your campaigns, and on managed services.
What are the best Aspire alternatives?
For a Shopify gifting and affiliate program, Grin from $200 a month. For a large affiliate program, Upfluence from $11,940 a year on its AWS listing. For creator search, Modash from $199 a month billed yearly. To book podcasts, newsletters and YouTube at a published price, Sponsorships at $49.50 a month with 0% commission.
Is Aspire worth it?
Aspire is worth it for a brand running gifting, affiliate and paid boosting across hundreds of social creators, where its workflow replaces staff time. At the $15,588 median it is about 10% of a program spending $150,000 a year on creators. Below about $50,000 of spend the software takes a third of the budget or more.
Does Aspire integrate with Shopify?
Yes. Aspire connects to Shopify to seed products from a curated catalog, ship orders directly to creators, and build shoppable creator pages from your live product data, and it tracks sales through affiliate links and promo codes. That integration is a large part of what the contract pays for.
Can a small brand afford Aspire?
Usually not on the numbers. A brand with $25,000 a year for creators would spend about 62% of that again on a median Aspire contract. A small brand gets more from a tool priced to the program, such as a $594 a year marketplace where creators already list what each placement costs.
