The detail
What Influee does well, and where the cost lands
Influee is a UGC marketplace. A brand publishes a campaign brief, creators from a pool Influee puts at more than 180,000 apply, and the brand picks who makes the content: unboxing clips, product demos, testimonial videos and photos meant to run as ads on Meta and TikTok. Every plan includes usage rights for the content, unlimited revisions before final approval, and unlimited pieces of content per collaboration. Influee publishes its prices, which most of this category does not.
There are four plans, all billed month to month in US dollars with no commitment. Starter costs $229 a month for up to 10 collaborations. Basic costs $529 for up to 25. Pro costs $999 for up to 50.
Enterprise is priced on request. Every plan carries the same 10% marketplace fee, added on top of each creator payment, and creator payments are never included in the subscription. A $100 creator fee costs you $110. Two details decide what Influee really costs you.
The first is how many collaborations you actually run. The subscription is fixed, so it is cheap per collaboration when you use the allowance and expensive when you do not. A brand on Starter that runs all 10 collaborations at $150 each pays $229 plus $1,500 plus $150, which is $1,879, and the plan works out to $22.90 per collaboration. The same brand running three collaborations pays $229 plus $450 plus $45, which is $724, and the plan is now $76 per collaboration, more than half of what each creator earned.
The second is that the 10% fee never goes down. Moving from Starter to Pro raises your collaboration ceiling, not your margin, so a brand spending $5,000 a month on creators pays $500 in fees on every plan. Over a year on Basic, that same brand spends $6,348 on the plan and $6,000 in fees. Influee is also unusually fair about the start.
Billing begins when you publish your first campaign, not when you sign up, there is no free trial, and if you publish a campaign and start no collaborations, Influee refunds the subscription in full. You can cancel any month and keep the content you already bought. None of that makes Influee a bad buy. If you need a steady flow of UGC video for paid social, with usage rights settled in advance and a pool of creators applying to your brief, it is a well built tool for that job, and the fee pays for contracting and payments you would otherwise run by hand.
So who looks for an Influee alternative? Three kinds of buyer. The first books only a few collaborations a month and is paying for allowance it never uses. Collabstr charges no subscription on its free plan and takes a 10% fee per booking, so a brand doing three bookings a month pays only the fee.
The second wants a lower fee at higher volume. Insense charges 10% on its Brand plan and 7% on Agency, though its plans start at $400 a month billed yearly and its trial costs $650. The third is not buying UGC at all. A podcast host read, a primary newsletter slot or a sponsored YouTube segment is a placement in the creator's own channel, priced on downloads, opens or views and booked for a date.
Those creators rarely apply to UGC briefs, and the deliverable is airtime with their audience, not a video file for your ad account. That is where Sponsorships fits. Podcasters, newsletter operators, YouTubers and event organizers publish their audience, their formats and a price per placement. On the Brand plan, $49.50 a month billed yearly or $99 month to month, you browse every listing, filter by format, audience and budget, save shortlists, send briefs and track deliverables per deal.
You pay the creator directly and we take 0% commission, so a $1,000 read costs $1,000. Be clear about what you give up. Sponsorships does not produce UGC ad creative and does not manage paid social usage rights. If your goal is 25 UGC videos a month for your ad account, Influee is the better tool.
If your goal is six podcast reads and a run of newsletter slots next quarter, you need each creator's published rate and audience, and a listing shows both before you spend anything.
Questions
Influee questions, answered
What is the best Influee alternative?
It depends on what you buy. Collabstr is the closest if you only book a few social creators a month and do not want a subscription. Insense suits brands running UGC at high volume who want a lower fee. Sponsorships is the alternative for podcast, newsletter, YouTube and event placements with a published price per placement and 0% commission.
How much does Influee cost?
Influee Starter costs $229 a month for up to 10 collaborations, Basic $529 for up to 25 and Pro $999 for up to 50, all month to month. Enterprise is priced on request. Creator payments are extra, and Influee adds a 10% marketplace fee to each one, so a $100 creator fee costs $110.
Does Influee have a free trial?
No. Influee says plainly that there is no free trial. Billing starts when you publish your first campaign rather than at signup, and if you publish a campaign and no collaboration starts, Influee refunds the subscription in full. You can cancel any month, and cancellation takes effect at the end of the billing period.
What is the Influee marketplace fee?
Influee adds 10% to every creator payment on every plan, including Pro and Enterprise. The fee does not fall as you move to a bigger plan, so a brand paying creators $5,000 a month pays $500 in fees whether it is on Starter, Basic or Pro.
Is Influee worth it for a small brand?
Only if you use most of the allowance. On Starter, ten collaborations at $150 each put the plan at $22.90 per collaboration. Three collaborations put it at $76 each, more than half of what each creator earned. A brand booking a handful of creators a month usually pays less on a no-subscription marketplace.
What are sites like Influee?
Sites like Influee include Insense, Billo and Collabstr for UGC and social creator content, Afluencer and Grin for seeding and gifting programs, and Modash or HypeAuditor for creator search. For podcasts, newsletters and events, look at sponsorship marketplaces such as Sponsorships, Passionfroot and Paved.
Can I cancel Influee anytime?
Yes. Influee plans are month to month with no commitment. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period, you keep access to content you already bought, and you need to subscribe again to start new collaborations.
Can I use Influee for podcast or newsletter sponsorships?
Not really. Influee is built for UGC: creators make videos and photos that you run as ads in your own accounts. A podcast host read or a newsletter slot is a placement in the creator's own channel, priced on downloads or opens and booked for a date. For those you need the creator's published rate and audience, which a sponsorship marketplace listing shows.
