In short
SponsorLeads is a newsletter sponsor lead database: it tracks which companies sponsor newsletters and gives you the budget holder's email and LinkedIn so you can pitch them. Pro costs $97 a month or $970 a year, and only the yearly plan unlocks the full archive of about 4,300 companies; a one-time Boost is $997. Sponsorships is the inbound alternative: you publish your audience and rate card, brands browse and contact you, and you keep 100% of every deal for $29 a month on the Creator plan billed yearly.

The detail
What SponsorLeads does well, and where the cost lands
SponsorLeads is a small, focused product, so it is worth describing plainly before comparing anything. It is a lead database for newsletter operators. The team monitors thousands of newsletters, records which companies sponsor them, and adds the contact details of the person likely to control that budget: usually a CMO, a growth director or a demand generation lead, with an email address and a LinkedIn profile, and the next best contact when the top one is not available. The data sits in an Airtable-based interface you can filter, group, sort and export, and new sponsors are added daily, about 24 companies a week on the vendor's own average.
The logic behind it is sound. A company that has already paid for a newsletter placement has proven it has a budget line for the channel, so it is a warmer target for a cold pitch than a company picked out of a general B2B database. That is the whole value proposition, and for an operator who is prepared to pitch, it is a good one. The pricing is public.
Pro starts at $97 a month or $970 a year. Boost is a one-time payment of $997. All plans include team members, unlimited reports and exports, and invoices for reimbursement. The detail that matters most is buried in the plan descriptions: the monthly and yearly Pro plans do not give you the same data.
Monthly Pro unlocks the leads collected over roughly the last month, which the pricing page listed at 493 companies and 506 email addresses when we checked. Yearly Pro unlocks the complete archive as well, listed at 41,737 sponsorships, 4,318 companies and 3,894 email addresses, plus the daily additions. Boost unlocks the same full archive but with no additions after you buy. Run the numbers and two of the three options fall away for most buyers.
Twelve months of monthly Pro costs $1,164, which is $194 more than the yearly plan and gets you roughly one ninth of the companies on day one. Boost costs $997, which is $27 more than a year of Pro, and it freezes the list on the day you pay. So unless you will only use the tool for two or three months, or you refuse any recurring charge, the yearly plan is the one that makes sense. On the archive figures it works out to about 22 cents per company and 25 cents per email address.
Two more facts from the vendor's own FAQ are worth knowing before you buy. SponsorLeads does not guarantee that any company on the list will sponsor you. And it says it deliberately keeps its customer count small and raises prices on purpose to limit access, so treat every figure on this page as a snapshot and check the pricing page on the day you decide. The real comparison is not price, it is direction.
SponsorLeads is an outbound tool: it hands you names, and you still write the pitch, send it, follow up and negotiate. Closing one deal a year can cover the subscription, which is the case its own customers make, but the return depends entirely on the hours you put into outreach. A marketplace works the other way round. On Sponsorships you publish a profile with your subscriber count, open rate, audience and a rate card for each placement.
Brands and agencies on the Brand plan browse by niche and format, send a brief and contact you directly, and when a deal closes the brand pays you, so the platform takes 0% of it. The Creator plan is $29 a month billed yearly, $348 a year, and covers newsletters, podcasts, YouTube and events in one profile with a deal pipeline and deliverables tracking. Starter is $12 a month billed yearly for a single format. What the marketplace does not do matters just as much.
It does not sell you a list of companies sponsoring other newsletters, it does not give you decision-maker emails for cold outreach, and it does not show you the sponsorship history of your competitors. If you have time set aside every week for prospecting, SponsorLeads is built for exactly that and a marketplace listing is not a replacement. For most operators the answer is both, in that order of cost. A listing at $348 a year keeps inbound working in the background while a lead list feeds the outbound side when you have hours to spend on it.

Questions
SponsorLeads questions, answered
How much does SponsorLeads cost?
SponsorLeads Pro costs $97 a month or $970 a year, and Boost is a one-time payment of $997. Monthly Pro unlocks roughly the last month of leads, while yearly Pro and Boost unlock the full archive of about 4,300 companies. A Sponsorships Creator listing is $29 a month billed yearly, with 0% commission on every deal.
What is SponsorLeads?
SponsorLeads is a lead database for newsletter operators. It monitors thousands of newsletters, records which companies sponsor them, and provides decision-maker contacts such as a CMO or growth director with an email and LinkedIn profile. Operators filter the list in an Airtable-based interface and use it to pitch companies that already buy newsletter ads.
What is the difference between SponsorLeads monthly and yearly?
The data, not only the price. Monthly Pro at $97 unlocks leads collected over roughly the last month, listed at 493 companies when we checked. Yearly Pro at $970 adds the complete archive, listed at 4,318 companies and 3,894 emails. Twelve months of monthly billing totals $1,164, so yearly is $194 cheaper and far larger.
Is SponsorLeads Boost or Pro cheaper?
Yearly Pro is cheaper for almost everyone. Boost costs $997 once and unlocks the full archive with no additions afterwards. Yearly Pro costs $970, unlocks the same archive and keeps adding about 24 companies a week. Boost only makes sense if you will not accept a recurring charge at all.
Is SponsorLeads worth it for a small newsletter?
It can be if you will actually pitch, because one closed sponsor can cover a year of Pro. The catch is time: every lead needs a tailored pitch and follow-up, and the list does not guarantee a reply. If you cannot commit weekly hours to outreach, an inbound marketplace listing at $12 to $29 a month usually returns more per hour.
Does SponsorLeads guarantee sponsors?
No. Its own FAQ says it cannot guarantee sponsorship, only that the companies listed have already shown interest in newsletter advertising. You still have to win each deal with a pitch. A marketplace does not guarantee deals either, but brands there contact you because they are already shopping for placements.
What are the best SponsorLeads alternatives?
It depends on the job. For sponsor lead data, SponsorGap is the closest rival, with public plans from $39 to $199 a month. For selling inventory through a network that takes a share, Paved and the beehiiv Ad Network are the common picks. For inbound deals at 0% commission across newsletters, podcasts, YouTube and events, a marketplace listing such as Sponsorships is the alternative.
Can I use SponsorLeads and a sponsorship marketplace together?
Yes, and it is often the best setup. SponsorLeads feeds outbound pitching when you have time, and a marketplace listing lets brands that are already shopping find and contact you without a cold email. The Creator listing costs $348 a year, about a third of yearly SponsorLeads Pro, and takes no commission on deals it produces.
